Krow Tao is a melting pot of genre defying songs, cinematic sound scapes, shifting syncopation, ear worm melodies and riffs, which build and flow around multi-layered musical settings. The latest incarnation of songwriter, guitarist and singer Michael Crowther, formerly of psych-folk-rock band Son of Kirk.

Michael has been exploring new ways to create music as a solo artist, writing new material, experimenting with loop pedals and effects and drawing from a wide range of influences such as psychedelic, prog and post rock, folk, fusion, trip hop, ambient, trance and world music.

From October 2024 Krow Tao is a duo, with the addition of Paddy Horan on drums. Krow Tao has recently opened shows for Soft Machine, Pentangle and Sahra Halgan.
