Widely recognised as a pioneer of the acid house movement and one of the "Godfathers of Dance Music." The career of Danny Rampling took off in the late 1980s when he founded Shoom, a London club night inspired by the Balearic sounds he encountered in Ibiza. Shoom became the epicenter of the UK's acid house revolution. Rampling later became a radio icon with influential shows on BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM, where he championed house music. Notable for his seamless mixing and genre-defining selections, he has also released acclaimed mix compilations, such as Love Groove Dance Party.
