HAWXX
HAWXX are a shapeshifting, punk infused alt-metal band.
As a feminist band, we want our music to embody feral sisterhood. To be the thread that binds us together in love and rage, holding women and our queer community at its core. Our shows are the place where this message comes alive, both on stage and within the beautiful community we have built
We write songs about feminist resistance, undoing oppressive beauty standards, violence against women and queer people and the unfolding ecological catastrophe.
Line Up
HAWXX are Anna, Hannah, Jessica and Iman. We’re into things like funny voices, feminism, booze, head banging and knitting. We originally hail from Greece, Wales, England and Bahrain and we found eachother in the trenches of Earlsfield, South London.
HAWXX make metal laced- heavy rock music about getting sacked from your job, the deterioration of the NHS, giving the finger to institutionalised religion and how loves a bitch.
Expect soaring guitars, phat bass lines, massive drum fills and intricate harmonies and a wall of sound to break down barriers and bring people together.
