Line Up

The English punks’ debut is a rage-forward bulldozer of poetic wordplay and experimental hardcore.” Pitchfork A ferocious live band, DITZ create forward-thinking noise rock/post-punk which features vast arrays of pedal effects with influences from 80s and 90s post-hardcore and noise rock. Their debut album ‘The Great Regression’ was recorded by Ben Hampson (Blood Red Shoes & Tigercub), mastered by Kate Tavini (We Are Scientists & Nadine Shah) & released on Alcopop! Records. Their limited-edition Dinked vinyl which sold out in under 24 hours and they gained plaudits from the likes of Pitchfork, Der Spiegel, Steve Lamacq, DIY and Clash. The standard edition of the vinyl also sold out and has been repressed. Live they are a formidable beast, in 2022 they’ve toured with DIIV, played festivals less than 24 hours after the drummer dislocated his shoulder, jumped into lakes mid-set and blown fans away with their powerful and pounding onslaught. They’ve toured the UK twice this year and made several excursions to mainland Europe, as well as playing to thousands of people at festivals such as La Route Du Rock, Reeperbahn, Great Escape, Truck, 2000 Trees, Krankenhaus and many more. To capture the energy of their live shows, the band recorded their set from The Great Regression tour at The Louisiana in Bristol and will release it as a live LP called ‘On The Bai’ou’ in March 2023. Featuring all ten tracks from the album along with previous singles and live favourites ‘Gayboy’ and ‘Role Model’, the album is a blistering assault on the senses, that gives a window into the world of a DITZ live show.

Shelf Lives

SLOBHEADS! We're two blokes in our mid twenties in a hard-hardhitting punk rock duo from the suburbs of south west London, specifically around Heathrow. We both met while skateboarding in Southbank, London, we were both wearing bad brains t-shirts and got chatting about our interests in punk rock music. After hanging out and skating with each other over a couple months we both decided to put a band together and write our own music. Our music reflects trashy and loud late 70s / early 80s punk rock, influenced by bands such as Sham 69, UK Subs, Stiff Little Fingers and The Stooges. We're also influnced by The Streets, Slowthai, Idles and Slaves. Our music lyrically is quite tounge n’ cheek, throaty and aggressive. Chanting songs with political ideology to drinking down the pub and the frustrations of day to day life. Hard hitting drums, thudding bass that'll rattle through your bones, catchy, distorted guitar riffs that you'll find stuck in your head like glue. We're SLOBHEADS!

A big achievement for us as a band was playing the video premier of a skateboarding filmed called 'blokes' which generated 46k views on YouTube. We played the premier show at the Peckham working mans club to a full capacity of 300 which exploded with energy, sweat, blood, broken glass from start to finish.

We're no strangers to being on local radio stations and up and coming showcase podcasts such as Killa Kella and switchbox TV which we always jump at when we get asked because we love to have a chat and chew the ears off anyone that makes the mistake of having us on their show.

To us it doesn't matter whether people listen or not. We'll always give our tracks and performances 110% as its what we love doing and we'll be at it till we can't no more!
