A former member of punk rock band Million Dead, Frank Turner turned his attention to folkier, acoustic "musics after the demise of the hardcore outfit. Born in Bahrain in 1981, Turner was educated at Eton College in England. His first foray into the world of punk and rock in the band Kneejerk came to an end in 2000, and he soon found himself joining up with Million Dead. Over the course of that band's four-year lifespan, Million Dead released two critically lauded albums, but called it a day in 2005. Turner decided to explore a different world after Million Dead, focusing on his love of folk and country, with acoustic guitar the guiding force. Getting a deal with Xtra Mile Recordings, he was able to release his first EP, Campfire Punkrock, in 2006. Critically well-received, the EP led to a full-length album in January of 2007, Sleep Is for the Week, which was also a critical hit and a moderate success saleswise.

Love Ire & Song While filling in just about all of his free time with touring, Turner kept recording, and released the EP The Real Damage and a DVD, All About the Destination, in 2007. His next album, Love Ire & Song, was due in the midst of more live appearances in March of 2008. Turner's label signed a distribution deal with Epitaph in the United States in late 2008. The end result was his Poetry of the Deed in September 2009, his first release stateside. In addition, Epitaph also reissued Love Ire & Song in the U.S. Later that year, Turner released a stellar solo acoustic cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Thunder Road" as a single via Suburban Home Records, and followed it with the album England Keep My Bones in June of 2011. In 2012, Turner released Last Minutes & Lost Evenings, a 15-track, handpicked collection of album cuts and rarities intended to introduce the fiery Englishman to an American audience. It was followed in 2013 by his fifth studio album, the Burbank, California-recorded Tape Deck Heart. Later in the year he released the brief ten-song Buddies EP in collaboration with songwriter Jon Snodgrass. In 2014, Turner was set to release a compilation, The Third Three Years, which followed two previous collections -- The First Three Years (2009) and The Second Three Years (2012) -- and collected demos, rarities, and cover versions. In 2015, Turner returned with Positive Songs for Negative People, a collection of all-new material. Two years later, he celebrated the tenth anniversary of his debut solo album with the career-spanning retrospective Songbook, which included re-recorded versions of some of his most popular songs.

“This is a really beautiful album…I hope it does incredibly well – it deserves to!” - Ric Sanders (Fairport Convention)

Hannah Rose Platt is an enchanting singer-songwriter and talented guitarist who specializes in Americana / folk music, with storytelling at its heart. She recorded her debut album Portraits in Nashville last year (produced by Michael Bonagura- Baillie & the Boys) where she worked with some of the industry's leading names, Grammy award-winning musicians Mark Fain, (Ricky Skaggs, Dolly Parton) Stuart Duncan (Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, The Nashville Bluegrass Band, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss) and Jeff Taylor (The Time Jumpers, Elvis Costello). Her melodic, poetic and accessible music offers self-written narratives to ordinary people who had no one to unfurl their stories; tales of luck, stoicism, loneliness, love, heartbreak and hope. While avoiding clichés, she warmly builds characters like an author, penning songs that almost eavesdrop on other people's lives. 1954 is told through the eyes of an elderly woman suffering from dementia who waits every night for her husband to pick her up as she recalls their first date, while Birthday Card is a tender letter from a mother written to her daughter from prison. Lyrics are the mainstay of her work, while subtle acoustic arrangements and beautiful guitar hooks form an uplifting backdrop. Hannah’s stories get under your skin…she plays with sentiment without being saccharine, focusing on optimism infused with realism and honesty. Born and raised in Liverpool, Hannah began playing the guitar when she was five, teaching herself how to play. Her musical education came from her stepfather who would encourage her to listen to a wide variety of music, scouring his extensive record collection for inspiration for her. Having played gigs around the country and in the USA, she released Portraits independently in March this year. The album has already received widespread critical acclaim and many of the tracks have received considerable airplay on BBC Radio Merseyside, Resonance FM, Wrecking Ball Radio and Europe's leading country radio station CMR Nashville. Hannah’s track ‘1954’ has also been featured in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks several times this year. Portraits was also included in Glamour Magazine’s ‘Summer soundtrack 2015. She was also featured on the back cover of Maverick Magazine and on their compilation CD, and played at Summertyne Americana Festival 2015, alongside artists such as Rosanne Cash, Emmylou Harris, Ward Thomas and the McCrary Sisters. Hannah is now based in London and is now gigging with a fantastic five-piece band, Kate Robinson on fiddle (Sam Smith, Elbow, Bjork) Ryan Trebilcock on double bass, Nicholas Smalley on Drums and Ryan Williams on electric guitar/mandolin.
