from local political parties and community groups, such as Repair Café, Soroptimists, 20s Plenty, CAGNE and of course Tunbridge Wells Friends of the Earth.

An Arts and Craft table for kids and adults

make stuff from rubbish / recyclable materials, write eco poetry or short stories.

Face painting.

Welcome and opening speech on the Earth Charter by Silvia Ferrero.

An update from Councillor Luke Everitt, TWBC’s Cabinet Member for Environment, Sustainability and Carbon Reduction and Chair of the Climate Emergency Advisory Panel (CEAP) on progress towards net zero by 2030.

Followed by a panel discussion with CEAP Councillors plus Q&A with the audience. This will be chaired by Rob Robinson, Sustainable Business Project Manager at Low Carbon Kent, KCC, working in partnership with LoCASE, the training funding provider for sustainable business growth in the South East.

5-minute “Soap Box” slots for members of the audience: have your say on all things environmental and green living, read eco poetry or sing a song.

Interspersed with talks by Chris Murphy on Repair Café, Soroptimists on Toilet Twinning plus certificate award, and Soham Joshi from Skinners’ School on Sustainable Living.

A discussion on Community Energy and Renewable Energy with presentations and Q&A with the public.
