THIS IS AN ONLINE EVENT

Every year in January, we celebrate the birthday of The Forum. In 1993, a building on the hill on the edge of The Common became one of the most significant buildings in the South East of England. A hub for Music & Arts and over the 28 years of being open, the space has had literally thousands of artists that have graced it's stage. We have had some of the biggest names in the world play here as well as even more than have made their own special history performing.

The venue has been a place for outsiders and creative people and it's had to face battles every year to survive... but no battle has ever been bigger than the year of 2020. A worldwide pandemic has made the future of The Forum insecure, and as we move into 2021, we still remain closed.

For the last few months we had agreed that we would make sure that whatever happened, we did something to celebrate the venues birthday. Whether it be a reduced live show or a special streamed show. However, all of our plans were scrapped due to the immediate climate we are in.

BUT

Nothing stops us having a celebration so we have organised something. We will be having a special celebration at 8.30pm online and you are all invited.

Grab a ticket and come and watch. The ticket is free and we totally understand that for many of you, finances are tight but if you can make a donation, it would be hugely appreciated. We still are very unsure on when we will reopen. Anything is appreciated.
