Chali 2na has done it all. From his days growing up on the hardscrabble streets of Chicago’s south side, to his subsequent explosion onto Los Angeles’ burgeoning hip-hop scene, to his tenure as MC for seminal hip-hop group Jurassic 5, Chali epitomises the portrait of a 21st century artist.

To be sure, with his unmistakable, beloved baritone, Chali has firmly established himself as one of the most distinctive, charismatic personalities not just in hip-hop, but music in general.

Renowned and respected worldwide for his highly technical turntablism, meticulously crafted DJ sets and party-punching productions, Krafty Kuts is in a league of his own. One of the key pioneers in the UK Breakbeat and bass movement scene, Krafty Kuts has multiple awards to his name and has released music on the likes of Ministry Of Sound, OWSLA, Fingerlickin, Southern Fried, Mix Mag, Fabric, Against the Grain, Instant Vibes, UKF and many more.

Continuously immersed in beat culture since forming his own b-boy break dancing crew in the late 80s.
