Formed back in the early 90's, still going strong The Varlies are a homegrown Tunbridge Wells rock band who have been delighting audiences far and wide with their own blend of music and infectious live performances. They have four albums to their name and their music ranges from a combination of high energy foot stomping tunes with funky grooves and high wire guitar riffs to beautifully crafted acoustic ballards. THE BIG SQUEEZE http://www.thebigsqueeze.org.uk/ The Big Squeeze are a long-standing, high quality covers band, formed in Tunbridge Wells in nineties. The band have been through a few changes in line-up but have remained committed to performing a wide range of guitar based cover versions to a high standard. The band favours songs from the 80/90’s Indie genre but can be relied upon to adapt the set to meet the occasion – be that Sixties covers, motown and soul, or more modern dance-floor fillers. Stalwarts of the set are REM, U2, Coldplay, Stereophonics, Smiths, Cure, Killers, The Jam and Razorlight.

• the wonderful KATY VIRGOE Katy is a songwriter who started off as a solo artist performing at festivals and music events around the South East with just her voice and her guitar. Since studying at BIMM she has found a new joy in performing with other musicians giving her songs a new sound. Katy music is ever changing from having an electronic feel to an open acoustic sound depending on who is with her on stage.
