Following their busy summer playing various festivals we are pleased to welcome back Hastings punk folk band Matilda's Scoundrels for their first gig since supporting The Levellers. Support from Paul Cheese, and a debut from Teal. £6 advance, £8 OTD

Folk punk from the smugglers coast of mighty Hastings.

Formed in 2014, Matilda’s Scoundrels are a 6 piece folk punk band from Hastings, UK. They’ve been building a solid reputation up and down the country over the past few years and supporting the likes of The Levellers, Ferocious Dog, The Mahones, The Rumjacks and The Goddamn Gallows. They have started making a name for themselves and have made their way on to some of the UK's biggest festivals including Boomtown and Rebellion. 2017 sees the release of their debut album.

A Garage Rock Duo from Kent, consisting of Stephen Fishman on guitar and vocals and Rosa Loveridge-Greene on drums. Heavy catchy Fuzz from South East England. If The White Stripes came from a scummy English town, they might sound a little like us.

Paul has been involved in the local music scene since his teens, playing guitar, his previous bands were Tipagore and 4th Wall. Over the last four years he has been exploring a different approach to writing and recording music. Taking his portable recording studio on epic cycle rides around the world, he has written and recorded in inspirational locations, as well as capturing this work on film and by photo. His albums have included tracks recorded at the top of mountains to deep underground and even underwater.
