LOVE YOURSELF, LOVE EACH OTHER AND LOVE THE BRIGHT BLACK
Since bursting onto Manchester’s live music scene back in November 2015, those boys from THE BRIGHT BLACK have gone from strength to strength, earning themselves an underground reputation for flamboyantly raucous performances with a dress code to match.
Their unique sound, often described as “Glam Soul, Post Funk”, is a melting pot of Funk driven grooves, Soulful lyricism and an energy rarely found outside of Rock and Roll. It is this eclectic approach to their artistry that is challenging the cliches often associated with Mancunian music, proving they are one of the city’s most promising new bands.
